Pics from the PC

I have recently picked up a couple of cool Original Art pieces from Comic Art fans. Now, I do not have a big art collection. My personal collection is mainly comics but I am always on the hunt for certain pages from certain artists.

These two pieces feature my all time favorite Superhero & that of course is The Phantom, The Ghost Who Walks! Ever since I saw the 1996 BLOCKBUSTER starring Billy Zane, I was hooked.

As a kid I was lucky enough to get the Playing Mantis Captain Action Phantom figure, I played with that Captain Action til his arms fell off. It was natural that when I started collecting comics I went right to the phantom and that lead to looking for & finally buying Original Comic Art from the Phantom in the Gold Key, King & Charlton Run. I have a couple pages from the Charlton Run, so this first page is right at home.

This is from the Great Pat Boyette who was given his start at Charlton Comics in the late 1960s, the second page is a cover from Frew Publications The Phantom #779.
