FROM THE VAULT

Today, I want to share a striking piece of art that proudly hangs in my office—a painting by the incredibly talented Andy Fish. This artwork features a close-up of the iconic Crimson Ghost, a villain from the 1946 Republic 12-chapter serial.

The Crimson Ghost has a fascinating history. In the 1950s, the original serial was re-edited into a six-episode television series. Later, in 1966, it made a comeback as a television film titled Cyclotrode "X". The character was then adopted as the mascot by the punk rock band The Misfits in 1979.

I can confidently say that this painting is inspired by the original serial. The Crimson Ghost stands out as one of the coolest characters from the Serial Era of Films, with his distinctive look and menacing presence.

Measuring an impressive 4 feet tall and 2 feet wide, this painting is the first thing you see when you walk through the doors of my office. It is a striking piece and I am proud to have it in my collection
