If you're new to the world of comic books and have just found some, identifying their value starts with determining their era, which can be done by checking the cover price:

• Golden Age (1938-1956): 10 cents

• Silver Age (1956-1970): 12-15 cents

• Bronze Age (1970-1985): 15-75 cents

• Copper Age (1985-2000): 75 cents to $2

• Modern Age (2000-present): $2 and up
